Job Function: IT Project Manager with an emphasis in the area of product-oriented delivery

Job Type: Full Time Contract. Right to Hire could be possible.

Location: Onsite in Piscataway, NJ at least 3 days per week.

Compensation: $55 - $63/hour commensurate with experience

Scope of Job

RCM is seeking an IT Project Manager who plans, schedules, and ensures timely completion of assigned IT projects for our client which is a technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. This role will include mostly project management with some business analysis in a complex business and systems environment (there will be times they may have to help with requirements). Projects will be 100% Agile and will require someone who has experience with Product oriented delivery.

Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate and manage large IT projects with an emphasis on Product oriented delivery.

Provide strong, proactive, and assertive leadership skills that engage multidiscipline work teams to respond to business needs for assigned projects.

Create project management plans, set expectations, execute governance reviews and ensure the project plans are driven by organizational procedures.

Coordinates with cross-functional project stakeholders to develop project scope, objectives, goals, and deliverables.

Ensures that requirements are gathered, documented, reviewed, and approved per organizational/PMO standards.

including weekly status, dashboards, and project updates.

Actively monitor, track, and manage project tasks, timelines, attainment of established milestones and overall quality of project activities and deliverables

Required Experience:

7-10 years of strong Project Management experience with an emphasis on Product oriented delivery using Agile methodologies.

In depth Project Management Experience handling Project Financials, Schedules, Scope, Testing with strong communication / presentation skills.

Excellent customer facing skills.

Excellent research, decision-making, and organizational skills are required.

Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or similar degree.
