Overview: Prisa Consulting Services LLC seeks a skilled IT Project Manager to oversee the development, improvement, and maintenance of information technology systems for the USDA Child Nutrition Programs. The Project Manager will collaborate with OPI IT and School Nutrition Programs, managing activities essential for administration, program accountability, and accuracy across state and local educational agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, improve, and maintain IT systems for USDA Child Nutrition Programs.
  • Manage projects related to Summer Non-Congregate Meal Service and Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer Program (SEBT).
  • Monitor project schedules, methodologies, and deliverables.
  • Ensure user experience and on-time project delivery with minimal defects.
  • Oversee contracted developers and manage project budgets.

Requirements:

  1. Project Management: PMP certification preferred; skills in project scheduling, diverse methodologies, and user experience.
  2. Onsite Work: Ability to work in Helena, Montana; familiarity with OPI IT tools, cross-agency IT projects, and SABHRS interface protocol.
  3. Experience: 7 years in USDA Child Nutrition and a total of 10 years of experience at the State agency level ; knowledge of FNS software/policy, business/systems analysis, federal reporting, and legislative finance.
  4. Expertise: School Nutrition Program business processes; experience with USDA policies and new programs (e.g., Summer EBT, Non-Congregate Meals).
  5. Skills: Direct Certification, SNAP/TANF/Medicaid policy, and online meal application development.
  6. Grant Management: Skills in managing USDA technology grant budgets, applications, and reporting.
  7. Vendor Management: Experience in managing vendor lifecycles and documentation.
  8. Additional Duties: Willingness to take on assigned duties and handle Personally Identifiable Information with appropriate security measures.
  9. Travel Requirement: The IT Project Manager will be required to attend/present at conferences and trainings in-state and nationally. Travel costs at federal rates will be reimbursed in addition to the cost per hour.

Deliverables: Enhance system usability, sustainability, and performance; ensure compliance with federal regulations; monitor grant project scope and submit progress reports.

Resources Provided: Office space, workstation, phone, and network access in Helena, Montana.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week at the OPI office.
