As the IT Manager, you will oversee a team of IT professionals, leveraging their diverse skill sets to enhance and maintain critical IT functions. This includes managing operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead specific projects and responsibilities within broader business initiatives.
  • Drive efficiency and intelligence in business processes, implementing analytics for actionable insights.
  • Spearhead efforts to address security and networking gaps.
  • Manage crucial IT tasks and systems administration.
  • Ensure reliable IT infrastructure and networking operations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate project progress and achievements.
  • Maintain and track hardware and software inventory.
  • Oversee company mobile phone contracts.
  • Document internal processes and procedures related to duties.
  • Perform server administration tasks, including user/group management, security permissions, group policies, print services, and system monitoring.
  • Conduct routine audits of systems, including backups.
  • Provide support for remote events and employees.
  • Establish and monitor infrastructure components such as internet connectivity, LANs/WLANs, VPN tunnels, point-to-point wireless, and video feeds.

Education/Experience/Skills: Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in switched and routed networks.
  • Experience with virtual machine management (VMWare) and project management.
  • Knowledge of PC hardware, Windows OS, and computer peripherals.
  • Ability to troubleshoot networks under pressure and time constraints.
  • Familiarity with VPN troubleshooting and SD-WAN.
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% and work weekends during race season.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, GPOs, Microsoft 365 Administration, including SharePoint.
  • IT certifications and experience with AWS and SQL Server.
  • Prior experience in motorsports is highly desirable.
