We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all IT functions, including system installations, network configurations, hardware and software upgrades, and routine maintenance. The IT Manager will also be responsible for managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and implementing new technological strategies that will support and enhance our manufacturing operations. This is a permanent position and requires someone with a strong background in PowerBI, router and switch, project management, vendor management, IT budgeting, and network administration.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all IT functions, including but not limited to system installations, network configurations, hardware and software upgrades, and routine maintenance.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.
• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
• Implement new IT strategies and technologies that support and enhance manufacturing operations.
• Monitor the performance of IT systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
• Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
• Develop and implement comprehensive disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular system audits and software performance reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience with PowerBI, router and switch, project management, vendor management, IT budgeting, and network administration.
• Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, and data storage systems.
• Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.
• Certifications in ITIL, CCNA, PMP, or similar would be an advantage.
