About the Role:

Job Summary

Manage a regional Field Services team to maximize productivity through teamwork and prioritization, providing high customer satisfaction. Create a positive work environment for team members and end users, which is characterized by proactive planning collaborative engagement. Manages projects and other moves, adds and changes for areas in their region of responsibility. Collaborate with other regional teams and leadership to build and sustain consistent processes across the Field Services team, and to provide coverage and assistance to ensure proper operational support.



Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Licensure or other certifications:

  • Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree. Seven (7) years of IT infrastructure operational experience in lieu of Bachelors degree.

  • Minimum Experience: Five (5) years of IT infrastructure operational experience, preferably within a desktop or field services required.



  • Three (3) years of IT infrastructure operations Management experience required or completion of Internal NGHS Leadership program; Emerging Leaders required plus the minimum of 5 years of IT infrastructure operational experience, preferably within a desktop or field services required.

Job Specific and Unique Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Possess strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Adept at managing technical resources in a busy environment with competing priorities

  • Proficient in writing technical documentations, instructions and processes without assistance

  • Experience in utilizing an ITIL-based help desk, such as ServiceNow

  • Skillful at providing excellent technical and customer support

  • Partners with other technical teams and analyst to gain additional knowledge and promote teamwork



Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manage a regional Field Services team to maximize productivity through teamwork and prioritization.

  • Create a positive work environment for team members and end users, which is characterized by proactive planning and high customer satisfaction.

  • Direct team work assignments, measure results and define short and long range team objectives.

  • Monitor team's ServiceNow tickets, ensuring Service Level Agreements are met, priority tickets are resolved in a timely manner.

  • Maintain adequate work hours coverage and appropriate on-call schedule.

  • Provide prompt and professional customer service to all end users.

  • Coach and mentor front-line staff to ensure excellent communication and customer service.

  • Collaborate with other regional managers on processes and procedures to ensure consistent support.

  • Participate in strategic technology and work process development and implementation.

  • Possess strong technical knowledge in the areas of desktop and telecommunications.
