As an IT Audit Manager with a focus on IT and Cybersecurity, you will lead our client's efforts to enhance and protect organizational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice and insight. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Internal Audit, you will manage IT and cybersecurity audits, in addition to support financial, operational and SOX compliance (ITGC) reviews.

IT Audit Manager Responsibilities:



  • Oversee and conduct IT audits, including the evaluation of our systems and processes for cybersecurity risks, data integrity, operational efficiency and compliance with regulations

  • Develop and refine audit scope focused on IT and cybersecurity risk assessments, collaborating with IT departments to understand new technologies and potential threats

  • Design, execute and manage audit procedures, ensuring thorough documentation and analysis of IT processes, system controls and operational performance

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements in IT audit and cybersecurity methodologies

  • Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, presenting key risks and control weaknesses to senior management, while offering strategic recommendations for mitigating risks

  • Lead follow-up audits to ensure management interventions are effective

  • Assist the VP of Audit in the annual risk assessment and the development of a targeted IT audit plan

  • Mentor and develop the internal audit team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement



IT Audit Manager Requirements:



  • 7+ years of progressive experience in IT audit, with significant exposure to cybersecurity risk assessments and IT preferably in a publicly traded company or through a top-tier public accounting firm

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Accounting, Business or a related field is required

  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CPA or similar strongly preferred

  • Proven expertise in frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001 and knowledge of SOX IT controls

  • Experience with ERP systems and IT infrastructure within a manufacturing environment is highly advantageous

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset

  • Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of managing audit teams and complex projects

  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of management and staff

  • High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality
