Venatore, a distinguished provider of IT solutions for the Department of Defense, is seeking an IT and Electronics Installer to support Army INSCOM at Fort Belvoir. The successful candidate will possess a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at the time of application and will be responsible for installing and configuring IT systems and electronic equipment. This role is essential for ensuring the effective deployment and operation of technology solutions critical to Army INSCOM's mission success. Key Responsibilities: Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and test IT systems and electronic equipment according to specifications and requirements. Ensure proper integration of hardware and software components to support operational needs. Network Setup: Set up and configure network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points. Establish network connections and troubleshoot connectivity issues as needed. Peripheral Integration: Install and integrate peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and audio-visual equipment. Ensure compatibility and functionality with existing systems. Cable Management: Perform cable management tasks, including routing, labeling, and securing cables to ensure a clean and organized installation. Adhere to industry standards and best practices for cable installation and management. Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct system tests to verify functionality and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues as they arise. Qualifications: Security Clearance: Must possess a current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in IT and electronics, particularly in roles related to document digitization, data management, and electronic records management
Technical Skills: Proficiency in installing and configuring IT systems, including hardware and software components. Knowledge of network setup and configuration, including routers, switches, and access points. Familiarity with peripheral devices and their integration with IT systems. Ability to perform cable management tasks according to industry standards. Strong understanding of IT networks and systems to ensure smooth operation and integration of digitization equipment with existing IT infrastructure.
Experience with data backup solutions, ensuring that digital files are securely stored and retrievable.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accurate and precise installation and configuration. Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey technical information.
