Job Description: Your main responsibilities as the ISSO at Westway, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and compliance of our information systems. You will work closely with our clients to implement and maintain effective security measures, policies, and procedures to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Key Requirements and Qualifications:

• Implement and manage information security policies and procedures

• Conduct security assessments, risk assessments, and vulnerability assessments

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure systems are configured securely

• Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches

• Maintain and update security documentation and reports

• Stay current on cybersecurity threats and industry best practices

• Assist in the development of security awareness and training programs Skills and Knowledge Required:

• Respectful and considerate people skills necessary to effectively function in a diverse team environment

• Ability to function well in a high-paced environment

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

• Meticulous and superior attention to detail and accuracy, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers and across organizational elements

• Proven experience as an ISSO or similar role

• Strong knowledge of information security principles, practices, and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)

• Familiarity with security tools and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.)

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field US Citizenship is required to meet government regulations
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience or related area

• US Citizenship is required to meet government regulations
• MUST have and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance and possess or willing to take a Counterintelligence (CI) or Full-scope polygraph Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+

• Knowledge of Intrusion Detection Systems and Access Controls
