Job Description Job Title: AT&T Stadium - Landscape Irrigation Tech Company: BEST Crowd Management Location: Arlington, TX Pay Rate: $16 - $18 / hr Job Type: Full-time Summary: The Landscape Irrigation Tech is responsible for the overall maintenance of the landscape and irrigation systems at AT&T Stadium. Role also includes conversion and painting of field turf. Irrigation Tech will report to Field/Landscape Manager. Candidate will work directly on the grounds to ensure the landscape is properly cared for and irrigated. Candidate needs to be self-motivated, independent, and a problem solver. Work involves exposure to extreme elements, temperatures and has physical requirements related to operating equipment and performing manual labor on a regular basis. Job Duties: Maintain irrigation system. Perform semi-skilled and skilled tasks including installations, inspections, repairs, and maintenance of irrigation systems Complete understanding of Irrigation systems and ability to operate and control system Troubleshoot and repair existing systems including control wires Perform routine preventative maintenance Ability to maintain stadium grounds to company standards Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion Assist with simple estimates of time, materials, and scope required to insure proper installation and specifications for project Assist in field conversions and painting of sports turf Provide general maintenance and support at special events including preparing activities, litter/trash control, hauling light and heavy items, installing temporary safety fences and trash cans Work requires the use of standard technical skills appropriate to the work environment of the organization Fertilization application and preventative maintenance for insect and landscape disease control Job Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with commercial irrigation systems. Must possess irrigator or Irrigation Technician license Self-motivated with strong organization and time management skills Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 50 pounds of material or equipment Must be available to work special events which include some weekends and holidays.
