Duties Provides assistance and guidance for the conduct of regulatory cyclic and periodic inventories and reports for all property types (organizational, intelligence, and installation). Reviews and interprets authorization documents to ensure that all required items are on hand receipt or on requisition. Assists the Group S4 in preparing the Logistics Estimate and the Logistics Annex for Operations Plans, Contingency Plans, and Operation Orders. Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Two year trial/probationary period may be required. In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on SBI with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI). Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time. Must be able to pass the Army Defensive Driver's Training course. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. A pre-employment Physical exam is required. All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience in procurement and inventory management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-09). OR Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR three (3) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Human Resources or Business Administration. NOTE: You must attach a copy of your transcripts for verification. OR Specialized experience as described above, but less than one year; AND at least two years of graduate education as described above, but less than the required three years. To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. NOTE: You must attach a copy of your transcripts for verification.
