Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability. Job Summary: As an Inventory Control Specialist you'll have the following general responsibilities: Receive and store incoming program material using appropriate storage practices in consideration of ESD, FOD, FIFO requirements. Analyze, plan, pick, and issue material as kits, individual picks, RTV, and/or customer deliveries. Conduct physical counts as required while monitoring multiple contracts material and reporting status to stake holders. Maintain multiple inventory systems including Eagle MMIS, SAP PRISM and APEX. Use and maintain tools used for inventory and warehouse movement including rolling aisle storage, modula storage, forklifts , pallet jacks, and lift systems. This job is based at the Raytheon facility in Poulsbo, WA. This position is posted as ONSITE. Responsibilities to Anticipate: Support material management planning and scheduling, including analysis and the optimization of inventory holdings and locations.
Meet customer requirements for both internal and external, including stock level maintenance.
Being comfortable with technology and systems, you will work to maintain data integrity of our inventory management systems and logistics databases in support of AS9100 and Raytheon's Command Media requirements.
Working with the Sourcing Team to ensure the efficient procurement to maintain inventory holdings for contract requirements.
Proficiently uses computer hardware/software.
Maintain contact with personnel from various customers and support areas to ensure accuracy of material/process.
Cycle count applicable inventory per the cycle count process requirements.
Use assorted measuring and weight recording devices.
Keep equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean.
Able to work independently and within a team.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Must adhere to all EH&S regulations and policies as well as attend required training courses related to EH&S.
Working knowledge of vertical storage vending machines and basic troubleshooting for those machines. Basic Qualifications: Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2 year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant inventory control experience.
Experience with shipping and packing materials for domestic and international movement.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Demand planning experience.
Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for data analysis.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
Working knowledge of government property movement. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
