Inventory Analyst- Hicksville Long Island, NY
Our client is a premier distributor in the plumbing supply industry and is searching for an experienced Inventory Analyst for its' Hicksville NY facility.
100% in office, no hybrid/remote available.

SUMMARY: The Inventory Analyst is responsible for the direct management of all inventory in the warehouse.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  1. Responsible for daily Cycle Counts, Research, Root Cause Analysis, Findings, Reporting, Inventory Accuracy, forecasting, and Developing Solutions to improve overall health of Warehouse Inventory.

  2. Responsible for Annual Physical Inventory from coordination, execution, and process improvement standpoint.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.



  1. Must have a minimum of 3 years of inventory management experience.

  2. Must have 3 years of Distribution Center Operations/Inventory Management experience.

  3. Proficient in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  4. Related industry experience - plumbing supplies.

  5. Capable of presenting operational data to the business and leadership team.

  6. Demonstrated ability to drive cultural change while improving efficiencies and processes. Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs.

  7. Strong knowledge and understanding of Distribution and Warehouse Management applications and Inventory Control principles.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


Bachelor's Degree with emphasis on Logistics or Operations Management
