Schedule: Full Time Monday-Friday 08:00-16:30 with rotating call for weekends and for the evenings/overnights. Holidays are done on a rotation Location: 3100 East Fletcher Avenue Tampa, Florida 33613 The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Tampa The role you'll contribute: The interventional technologist is a vital member of a multidisciplinary team consisting of interventional radiologists, nurses and technologists. Interventional technology procedures consist of diagnostic angiography, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures. The value you'll bring to the team: Ability to learn and use Radiology software packages such as IDX, Radworks, Current PACS application. Ability to quickly learn and follow departmental policies and procedures. Maintain responsibility for all Hospital continuing and annual education. Must maintain all required registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures. Ability to follow Basic Radiation Safety concepts of time, distance and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patients and staff. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: High School Diploma/equivalent Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology Two years' experience as a Registered Radiological Technologist ARRT and State of FL This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
