Interventional Cardiology opening in the Houston metro area x000D x000D Located in The Woodlands, TX - part of the Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land metropolitan area x000D Full-time, permanent opening x000D Employed position x000D Joining an established, growing Cardiology practice x000D Mentorship support avaialble x000D Office is approximately 6300 square feet x000D 1:3 weekend call schedule, STEMI x000D Prefer a start date ASAP x000D x000D Responsibilities: x000D x000D Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills x000D Coordinate discharge planning with case management x000D Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients x000D Accept patient referrals from other physicians x000D Act as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital x000D Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules x000D x000D Requirements: x000D x000D Experience preferred, but open to newly graduated fellows x000D Training in Echo, Nuclear, TEEs desirable x000D Required proficiency in pacemaker implants x000D Preferred proficiency with defibrillators and peripheral vascular work x000D Preferred proficiency in extremity support for vascular access and/or lower extremity x000D x000D Compensation/Benefits: x000D x000D Competitive salary x000D Comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision x000D Relocation assistance x000D Paid occurrence based malpractice insurance x000D Vacation and CME annually x000D Annual CME allowance
