Job Posting Title: Intervention Specialist - SEL Job Description: Provides consultation or direct service in the areas of social, emotional and behavioral functioning to meet the individual needs of students in order to improve both academic achievement and social competence. Collaborates with school staff and administration to lead and support universal and targeted social emotional supports for all students. Develops and promotes good community relations among various district and community clientele. Position Specific Information (if Applicable): Responsibilities: Consult with staff and support the provision of accommodations for students. Implement or support implementation of student behavior intervention plans. Provide leadership in the implementation of and training in the school's social emotional learning framework or program. Provide leadership in the implementation of prevention strategies or programs at the school level. Refer students and families to mental health service providers or counselors when needed. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Certifications: Teacher License - Early Childhood Education - Colorado Department of Education, Teacher License - Educationally Handicapped - Colorado Department of Education, Teacher License - School Psychologist - Colorado Department of Education, Teacher License - School Social Worker - Colorado Department of Education, Teacher License - Severe Needs Affective - Colorado Department of Education, Teacher License - Special Education Endorsement - Colorado Department of Education Education: Bachelor's Degree Position Type: Regular Primary Location: Iron Horse Elementary One Year Only (Yes or No): No Scheduled Hours Per Week: 8 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE): 0.20 Approx Scheduled Days Per Year: 185 Work Days Full Salary Range: $55,808.00 USD - $116,582.00 USD Annual Position Salary Schedule Eligibility: Hard to Hire Licensed position salaries are set based on one of three salary schedules; General, Hard to Hire, and Specialist/Extremely Hard to Hire.
