Internship-Forestry & Log Procurement DivisionJob Description:Are you passionate about forestry, agriculture, or natural resources? Our internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the forestry or hardwood industry.

You ll be working closely with the log procurement team, assisting with various tasks related to buying logs. Working in a mill or remote buying yard environment will help you develop your skills and knowledge while ensuring that all logs are purchased and processed in compliance with the company s standards and procedures. Internship Dates: Our summer program runs from May 21st and lasts 10-12 weeks, depending on the intern s availability.Responsibilities may include: Assisting with log procurement at pur mill or remote buying yardsAssisting with log scaling and gradingAssisting with log inventory managementAssisting with log transportation logisticsAssisting with data entry and record keeping Qualifications: Forestry & Log Procurement Internships Currently pursuing a degree in forestry, ag school, or natural resource-related majors.Current School Status: Sophomore or aboveStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to work independently and take initiativeWillingness to learn and take on new challengesSome travel may be required depending on the assignment Opportunities:We have internship opportunities in Ohio, Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, Missouri, and Kentucky.
