Olive Recruiting is looking for an International Sales Executive, specialized in Ocean Charter, to work with a Specialized Heavy Transport Company in East Houston, TX. The company specializes in oversized and overweight cargo transport via ocean and land to facility placement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establishing customer base by cold calling, proceeding with quotations and presentations to existing and prospective customers
Developing relationships with customers and generating new business
Visiting existing and new potential customers
Achieves assigned sales targets
Maintaining and updating (minimum weekly) sales reports and pipeline reports
Possess strong mathematical skills and good knowledge of basic cost for all freight forwarding products incl. charters, breakbulk, RoRo services, etc
Experience with pricing over-dimensional loads.
Work closely with the operations team and overseas agents to ensure best in class service
Develop and implement a strong lead generation strategy
Other tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS:
3 years (NVOCC/Project Freight forwarder/Charter Broker) Sales experience is highly desired.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
