We offer a competitive Benefits Program that includes affordable health insurance and Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA), Dental and Vision Insurance, Educational and Continuing Education Benefits, Student Loan Repayment and Loan Forgiveness, Retirement Plan, Group Life and AD&D Insurance, Short term and Long Term Disability benefits, Professional Fee Reimbursement, Mileage and Cell Phone Reimbursement, Scrubs Reimbursement, Loupes Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Programs, Paid Holidays, Personal Days of Celebration, Paid time off, and Extended Illness Benefits. x000D Signing bonus and relocation assistance available. x000D x000D Eligible Federally Qualified Health Center in the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program. x000D x000D Responsibilities x000D Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment for a specified patient population. x000D Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions. x000D Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate. x000D Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives. x000D Maintains a professional relationship with staff and patients. x000D Performs other related and/or necessary tasks to achieve clinic goals and objectives, as directed by the Medical Director. x000D Care team responsibilities as outlined in the Care Team Patient Center Medical Home Procedures. x000D Other duties as assigned. x000D x000D x000D Qualifications x000D Valid and unrestricted license issued by the Medical Board of California to practice medicine. x000D Board certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty. x000D Medical Doctor with three 3-5 years of directly related experience which may include residency in a directly related medical. x000D Completion of Women's Health training/fellowship and desire to integrate in primary care role higly desired. x000D Ability to Speak Spanish preferred. x000D Current registration issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) allowing the prescription of drugs. x000D Prior experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) a plus. x000D Prior experience working in community health a plus. x000D Must be CPR Certified. x000D NextGen Electronic Health Records (EHR) experiences a plus. x000D Must maintain Continued Medical Education (CME) as required for certification renewals. x000D Successful candidate must submit to post offer, post-employment physical examination/medical history check. x000D Ability to observe, to assess, and to record symptoms, reactions, and progress. x000D Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care. x000D Ability to see an average of 20 patients per day for Full Time shift. x000D Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage. x000D Knowledge of community medical diagnostic and patient care services in area of medical expertise. x000D Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards. x000D Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in area of expertise. x000D Ability to speak in Spanish is preferred. x000D Ability to supervise, to lead, to advice, and to train clinical professionals, PA's/FNP's and/or students in area of expertise. x000D Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. x000D Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. x000D x000D Location: x000D Larkspur is a city in Marin County, California, United States.
