Ascension Medical Group Lakeside Internal Medicine in St. Clair Shores, Michigan is looking for a full-time Internal Medicine physician to join their team.
Position Highlights:

Currently, there are three full-time, board certified Internal Medicine physicians and one part-time, certified Nurse Practitioner.

Responsibilities will be to see outpatient visits (18 years old and up) in the office and take a proportionate share of call with the other providers in the practice.

One physician rounds on his own inpatients and the other two physicians admit to a Hospitalist Service for inpatient coverage at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The new physician will be expected to provide 2 hours per week of office coverage during non-traditional hours (early start or late night) in order to increase patient access.

There is a convenient lab and x-ray services available at the Surgery Center which is on the same campus and a walkable distance from the practice.
Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program

BE Internal Medicine / BC Internal Medicine preferred

Will consider a new graduate. 1-2 years of recent and relevant experience in a similar outpatient primary care setting is desirable.
