Internal Audit Manager

Nesco client, a $10.0 billion global leader in manufacturing for industrial, defense and aerospace industries is seeking a dynamic Internal Audit Manager to join their elite team in Naugatuck. Company has 70+ years of leadership and stability in its industry. This is a highly visible position reporting to the Corporate Controller. Plenty of room to grow in this company.

Salary $125-135.

Principal Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll drive strategic audits, ensuring seamless execution of our Annual Audit Plan while collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders. 2 direct reports.

• Knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles and IIA standards as well as an understanding of SEC reporting requirements.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in public accounting or at a public company.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple engagements and competing priorities.
• Excellent technical audit skills and analytic abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with divisional accountants in the U.S. and abroad as well as senior management.
• Strong computer skills; experience with MS Excel preferred.
• CPA, CIA preferred.
