SUMMARY The driving force behind constant business growth is the presence of skilled and dedicated project managers. Project Managers are responsible for coordinating and facilitating work that meets the business goals and objectives as outlined in the Project Charter. They are responsible for delivering clear, concise communication regarding team roles and responsibilities. They must understand the desired business outcomes and be able to articulate how the project deliverables will meet those requirements. Must have strong work plan development capabilities and progress oversight skills. The discipline requires weekly project status reports, risk management, escalation of issues that cannot be resolved by the team, and ensuring the project is delivered in budget, on schedule, and within scope. However, most importantly the project must meet or exceed the project stakeholder's documented expectations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: other duties may be assigned. Project Management Governance Adhere to the methodologies and best practices as presented by the Project Management Office (PMO) through all process groups of initiation, planning, execution, and closure. Work with project sponsor and stakeholders to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing. Complete work breakdown structure to estimate effort and duration required for each task. Develops and maintain projects plans and schedules. Ensure resource availability and allocation. Establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure that team members have the tools needed, and provide timely feedback. Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request forms. Assess project risks and issues and identify solutions to meet business objectives and ensure quality deliverables. Manage and document project budget; Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, etc. in coordination with document project success criteria. Provide consistent stakeholders updates using the standard Project Update Template. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately in project tracking tool. Manage strategic projects to the expected business benefits rather than the "features" available in the product. Direct and manages overall work efforts of multiple project teams. Program Management: manage multiple, inter-related projects to meet a specific business strategic outcome. Team Leadership Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation. Manage project team sizes with 20+ members. Provide leadership while coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors to deliver projects according to plan. Utilize exceptional communication skills to effectively lead cross-functional, virtual teams while interfacing with senior management and all levels of the organization. Work collaboratively with development and support staff to maintain thorough knowledge of product/system capabilities. Guide the sponsor and teams to make decisions that allow for the company to realize the benefits of the project deliverables. Run efficient meetings and workshops. Foster attendee participation and collaboration in small and large groups. Build and continuously develops relationships with bank users, all levels of management, and vendors to increase the operational capability of the PMO to deliver our services. Utilize team members to fullest potential, encourage collaboration, mitigate conflict foster positive communications, acknowledgement, and appreciation. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience Recommended: Working toward PM certifications 6+ years general business experience 5+ years Project Management experience Subject matter expertise in at least one business and/or technical area OTHER SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Strong management skills to manage a medium to large project team or multiple medium projects towards successful completion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Visio). Ability to work well independently. Must be highly organized, self-starter and adaptable to change. Employ strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines. Properly prioritize workloads and remain adaptable under pressure. Must be detail-oriented and have strong analytical skills. Possess general understanding in the areas of software application, database, and system design. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries of complaints of customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and sit. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS We offer a competitive total compensation package including base salary and benefits. The anticipated pay range for this position is $75,368 to $124,357 per year (in CO & WA), and depends on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, education, and geographic location. Additionally, this role is eligible to receive annual discretionary cash bonuses. Benefits available for this position include, but are not limited to, medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability benefits and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings account, employee assistance program, 401(k), Paid Time Off (new hires accrue at .069 per hours worked which equates to approximately 18 days per year inclusive of paid sick time) and up to 11 paid Federal holidays.
