Job Responsibilities Include:

As an Interior Maintenance Technician your duties will include Maintaining, Inspecting, Repairing, Modifying, Overhaul and Aircraft Interiors on commercial aircraft in compliance with Aircraft maintenance manuals, policies, procedures, customer requirements and the FAA. General Airframe and Powerplant system knowledge.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Boeing 747, 757, 767, experience is a plus.
  • Must have the minimum tools as required.
  • Must have 2+ years of understanding of aircraft structures.
  • Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
  • Must be willing to work any shift.
  • Must be available to work overtime (as requested).
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Knowledge of all areas of the aircraft and assigned work area.
  • Repair, modify, replace or otherwise perform routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance work in specialized area of aircraft.
  • Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise.
  • Complete job assignments in a timely manner.
  • Complete on-the-job-training (OJT) forms and required reading.
  • Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification.
  • Having a Passport is a plus.
  • Remove, clean, service, and replace various aircraft components using special tooling and ground support equipment following oral and written instructions such as supervisors' directives and manuals to complete all routine and non-routine assignments on time.
  • Recover all aircraft seats and armrests.
  • Service all aircraft emergency equipment to specifications.
  • Maintain and store various tools in a serviceable condition.
  • Adhere to safe maintenance practices and keep a clean work area.
  • Complete any courses deemed necessary by the Training Department.

Experience:
  • Aircraft maintenance: 2 years (Required)
  • VVIP/UVIP Interior Experience Preferred

License/Certification:
  • Airframe & Powerplant License (Preferred)

Education:
  • High school or equivalent (Required)
