Join us in our quest to streamline our financial processes as a Permanent Intercompany Accountant. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will play a crucial role in the management of intercompany transactions and accounts. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for finance.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Intercompany Accountant, you will be responsible for:
1. Managing and overseeing all intercompany transactions and processes, including preparing, posting, validating, and reconciling all intercompany transactions.
2. Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of intercompany accounts.
3. Coordinating with other departments and subsidiaries to ensure alignment and compliance with group policies and procedures.
4. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual intercompany reports and analyses for management.
5. Assisting in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
6. Participating in cross-functional projects and supporting other finance teams when necessary.
7. Identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues related to intercompany accounts.
8. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
9. Providing support for internal and external audits related to intercompany transactions.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in intercompany accounting or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
4. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
7. The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. A proactive approach, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
9. Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred but not required.
