Summary You will serve as a Senior Cyber Operations Analyst performing research and analysis on Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) data with a focus on enabling cyberspace operations. You will conduct analysis using digital network intelligence, researching vulnerabilities and exploits, providing technical information collected from a variety of capabilities to support cyber operational requirements. This position is located at NIOC/CNO ACTIVITY in Pensacola, Florida. Duties You will perform duties related to signals intelligence (SIGINT) development using digital network intelligence and researching vulnerabilities to support cyberspace operations. You will utilize selective intelligence collection methods and systems, their capabilities and limitations, and appropriate tasking methods. You will provide technical information derived from multiple sources to support cyberspace operations. You will develop products containing information related to indications and warning of emerging threats and vulnerabilities, incident response, and cyber threat analysis in accordance with governing policies and procedures. You will interpret, evaluate, and integrate intelligence information to support cyberspace operations. You will apply terminologies, methodologies, research, and analytical techniques to perform difficult and complex work assignments. You will prepare and present briefings to leadership and participate in meetings and conferences. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. This position requires periodic polygraph examinations. This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period. This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position; must meet qualification requirements of the specialty area assigned as delineated in Appendix 4 of SECNAV M-5239.2. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducting research and analysis on signals intelligence (SIGINT) data pertaining to various communications and electronics systems; 2) Performing duties related to signals intelligence (SIGINT) development using digital network intelligence and researching vulnerabilities and exploits; 3) Preparing signals intelligence (SIGINT) assessments and briefings to facilitate decision making; and, 4) Providing technical information collected from a variety of signals intelligence (SIGINT) capabilities to support operational requirements. Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: Education N/A Additional information NOTE: This position has been designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position in specialty area 13 and as a condition of employment incumbents of the position are required to comply with the DON Cyber IT/CSWF Program requirements of SECNAV M-5239.2, which include:
1. Earn and maintain appropriate credentials from the Cyber IT/CSWF Qualification Matrix (described in SECNAV M-5239.2) associated with the specialty area and level commensurate with the scope of major assigned duties for the position to which you are assigned, and;
2. Participate in a continuous learning program as described in SECNAVINST 1543.2. A minimum of 40 hours of Cyber IT/CSWF related continuous learning annually documented in a current individual development plan signed by both the employee and supervisor. This position performs a primary cyber work role of 132, per the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
