Intelligence Management Specialist - Expert This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance Cherokee Preting is seeking an expert Intelligence Management Specialist to support, identify, assess, and disrupt threats to cleared industry, cleared personnel, DOD, and Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) through the application of CI, cyber, and enterprise insider threat management activities. Intelligence Management Specialist - Expert Responsibilities Include: Recommend development and implementation of strategic CI planning, investigations and operations. Advise and assist CI and Insider Threat Directorate in establishing and maintaining CI capabilities and expertise in current, new and emerging disciplines in support of national and defense strategic goals and objectives. Provide functional expertise in research and technology protection, critical infrastructure protection, critical program information protection, insider threat, CI investigations, operations, collection, and analysis. Support intermediate and senior-level personnel to identify and neutralize or influence the activities of FIE, terrorists, insurgents, insiders, and other entities adversely affecting the mission. Recommend and draft policy, strategy, and procedures that help to integrate, improve efficiencies, or improve organizational effectiveness of the CI and Insider Threat Directorate. Draft policies, procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), etc., for Government approval. Identify and write draft and final recommendations about critical gaps in operational or organizational capabilities and expertise required to ensure DCSA and DCSA CI is sufficiently organized and staffed to align with and meaningfully support CI strategic priorities. Explore NISP- related management processes and develop strategies to integrate the DCSA CI mission. Provide strategies to promote and enhance greater integration of DCSA CI with the IC. Develop enterprise-wide policies and procedures to promote and sustain CI and Insider Threat Directorate organizational and operational efficiency. Develop draft operational, strategic, and policy recommendations to promote community sharing and collaboration Liaise and engage with DCSA, DoD, intelligence community (IC), LE, and other Government agencies (OGA) on issues pertaining to CI, cyber, and insider threat. Attend, liaise with, and assist CI and other DCSA, DoD, and national working groups established to write, revise CI strategies, objectives, policies, objectives, goals, measures/metrics, and implementation plans. Engage and liaise with OGA operational elements conducting proactive collection operations. Assist in the coordination between and liaison with Federal, State, and local LE and IC agencies; to include joint agency and service task forces. Prepare, coordinate, and deliver/present briefings to internal and external counterparts (e.g., industry partners, OGA). Coordinate operational meetings for planning and information sharing. Produce a/update existing database/list of contacts with whom the contractor and or DCSA CI personnel can engage to explore the operational potential of DCSA CI reporting and products. Provides a full range of intelligence and administrative support to assist analysts, engineers, and scientists involved in a variety of intelligence disciplines and activities. Review documents for accuracy and respond to staff requests on accessing, coordinating, consolidating, or formatting. Assist with administration and management of request for information, task actions, reports, and briefings. Prepare correspondence and other documents needed to support the management of the program and associated activities Create "read-ahead" documents, coordinating with security to ensure guests have appropriate access, and building read ahead books or material for official functions and meetings. Provide cross-domain data transfer and intelligence dissemination support. Performs other job-related duties as assigned Intelligence Management Specialist - Expert Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Desired to have a minimum 20 years of experience related to the Intelligence Management Specialist role with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years Preferred to have a Master's degree Must have an active Top Secret / SCI level security clearance Consult on management processes, efficient and productive integration of CI, and executive level responsibilities concerning the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) with emphasis on the integration of the different elements of the CI mission and process improvements designed to maximize programmatic efficiencies within DCSA CI Provide expert level functional expertise and support to the DCSA CI and Insider Threat Directorate to identify, assess, and disrupt threats to cleared industry, cleared personnel, DOD, and DCSA Provide senior-level consultative advice and assistance related to national-level CI programs, and provide consultation on management processes, efficient and productive integration of CI- and executive-level responsibilities concerning the NISP with emphasis on the integration of CI into cleared contractor security and risk management activities Consult with the CI and Insider Threat Directorate on matters related to strategic, operational, and tactical CI, cyber, and insider threat activities to enable and enhance the CI and Insider Threat Directorate mission Advise CI and Insider Threat Directorate leadership on the national security impacts of CI and law enforcement (LE) community issues, counterespionage (CE) subjects, and cybersecurity strategic objectives Experience with facilitating USG responses to adversary action and insider threats by sharing threat indicators and enabling responsive measures from other agencies and services Develop cyber capabilities and processes that illuminate threats, enhance awareness, and enable customer response Experience with developing and operationalizing an enterprise security risk management methodology across Government and industry stakeholders Strong briefing and writing skills Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal Company Information: Cherokee Preting (Preting) provides support, services, and solutions to federal and commercial customers.
