Integration Engineer

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Integration Engineer to join our client's technology team as a thought leader responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integrations within their integration platforms. This role involves implementing and testing various integrations, encompassing batch, event-driven, and real-time integration. The successful candidate will showcase expertise in designing and building integrations, administering integration platforms, and ensuring security within our environments.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues within the Boomi integration platform.
- Design, develop, and implement integrations within the Boomi platform.
- Provide full support for the platform and all integrations.
- Architect integrations for new projects and integration initiatives.
- Develop and implement APIs.
- Lead in the administration and maintenance of the Boomi integration platform, including performance tuning and monitoring.
- Document and maintain standards and configuration of our integration environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration incidents, collaborating with others to identify and resolve issues.
- Perform unit testing for both new production integrations and enhancements to existing integrations.
- Multi-task and communicate effectively with team members and IT management.
- Work independently, prioritize work, proactively address issues, and escalate when necessary.
- Provide guidance and thought leadership to other team members.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience developing integration solutions on middleware integration platforms.
- 3+ years of Boomi integration platform development and support experience.
- Experience in designing and implementing real-time, batch, and ETL integrations.
- Familiarity with XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, WSDL, EDI, messaging adapters, DB adapters, and various other Boomi adapters.
- Proficiency in web services, messaging, ETL, APIs, and implementing security for different types of integrations.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Javascript).
- Ability to perform software performance tests on Boomi interfaces for improvement and corrections.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Boomi certification is a plus.
