The Integrated Systems Manager will provide technical expertise in the areas of content distribution and broadcast oversight. They will take part in multi-disciplined project management under direction of the Entertainment Technical Systems Manager and will also facilitate long and short-term capital project planning for entertainment technical systems. They will play a key role in maintaining core pipeline applications and IT integrated services used by the entertainment technical teams; both shipboard and shoreside.


What You Will Do
  • Maintain broadcast systems including facility infrastructure, which supports shows and media distribution.

  • Function as a systems training resource for both new and existing technicians.

  • Partner with shipboard teams for ongoing technical systems support.

  • Ensure technical system equipment consistency across the fleet.

  • Maintain documentation for satellite receiver systems.

  • Lead the shoreside transmission center, also known as shore to ship streaming.

  • Responsible for systems update management in partnership with Disney Cruise Line Technology team.

  • Liaise with Disney Cruise Line Technology on upcoming entertainment initiatives.

  • Function as system administrator for core applications (IE: ticketing, documentation, archiving, etc.).

  • Partner with corporate Disney Cruise Line and Disney Live Entertainment technology teams for software approval and management.

  • Management of departments' software licenses.

  • Partner with representatives from each technical field for fiscal year capital prioritization.

  • Ensure recurring capital projects have a timely completion in accordance to specifications (technical quality, reliability, schedule) and within budgeted costs.

  • Project manage broadcast focused capital project installs.

  • Partner with the DLE Technical Directors, Designers and MTO Manager of Entertainment Technical to ensure all show documentation has been captured as needed for any projects being managed.

  • Partner with the DLE Technical Directors and Designers to coordinate logistics, movement and confirmation of equipment, props and OFE for any projects being managed.

  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with relevant government licensing bodies, vendors, clients and internal partners.

  • Partners with Worldwide Safety team to verify company safety standards are met.

  • Partners with shoreside Entertainment Technical Leadership, Disney Cruise Line Safety partners and the Standards and Sustainment team to ensure Safety Management Systems and Operating Guideline documentation is up to date and in accordance with current safety and regulatory practices.

  • Responsible for upholding the general safety management responsibilities in the Safety Management System (SMS) within Technical and Entertainment operations.


Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in entertainment project management, live event production and technical disciplines.

  • Core knowledge and/or expertise with broadcast, video, and platform technologies.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs, spreadsheet and presentation software, Microsoft outlook, including collaboration tools and file sharing programs with the ability to learn new software applications.

  • Good interpersonal relationship skills and ability to lead conflict resolution with proven successful experience in team building and multi-functional collaboration.

  • Effective problem-solving skills to improve the success of each project.

  • Available and willing to work weekends, holidays and third shift, as needed.

  • Ability to travel extensively on various domestic and international assignments as needed.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
