Job Details

Role Overview:

The Intake Attorney will manage initial client intake, evaluate potential cases, and determine eligibility for representation. As the primary contact for prospective clients, they must demonstrate empathy and commitment to exceptional client care.

Responsibilities:

Assess potential personal injury and mass tort cases for viability and value.
Conduct initial interviews and screenings with potential clients.
Document case details and conduct preliminary legal research.
Provide legal advice and options to potential clients.
Collaborate with legal professionals to advise on case acceptance.
Assist in preparing and presenting case proposals.
Contribute to improving the client intake process.
Build rapport with potential clients and assist in securing client retention.

Requirements:

Juris Doctorate and active Bar membership.
Minimum 3 years of legal experience, preferably in personal injury or mass tort litigation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in legal research and case management.
Team player with a caring and compassionate attitude.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Growth mindset and willingness to learn.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and technology.
Superior time management and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail and organizational proficiency.
