Salary: $125,000 - $165,000 per year

A bit about us:

Our client's in Boca Raton has an open search for an experienced insurance defense attorney. The opportunity is with a respected regional firm that focuses exclusively on insurance defense and insurance coverage matters.

The partners are seeking an attorney with at least 4 years of recent first or third-party defense experience. The incoming attorney will have autonomy in developing case strategies across the spectrum of third-party insurance defense and coverage, analyzing policies and advocating for clients in state and federal courts. Interested attorneys should be comfortable handling all stages of litigation (taking/defending depositions, law and motion practice, discovery, trial preparation, etc.) and have a demonstrated history of insurance defense success.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including first party and third party matters;
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses;
• Conduct legal research and coverage analysis;
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters;
• Provide exceptional client service and maintain client relationships

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate Degree
• Must live in Florida preferably in Palm Beach, Broward or Miami-Dade County
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in insurance coverage or insurance defense litigation handling first and third

party claims

• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
