Job Description Position: Marine Insulator Job Location: Mobile, AL Rate of Pay depends on depends on class and experience Per Diem: must live 50+ miles from Jobsite Description: Candidates must have 2 - 5+ years of Marine experience. Responsibilities: Apply insulation and covering to piping/machinery for water systems, AC, refrigeration and steam machinery, bulkheads and overheads Must read and understand blueprints Cut insulation to fit where necessary Line hollow spaces with appropriate type of insulation, fitting it with knives, saws or other tools. Wrap piping or glue expanded insulation into place Finish insulated surfaces with covers, strips or other sealants to prevent damage to the insulation.
