We are seeking an Instrumentation Engineer to join the dynamic team in the Austin area. The role involves reviewing specifications and contract drawings to select appropriate instrumentation and accessories for project applications, creating datasheets, and calibration reports, assembling, installing, testing, certifying installations per contract specifications, and creating any final reports needed for O&M. Location: Austin, Texas Job Responsibilities As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will be the go-to expert for internal and external clients regarding instrumentation selection and analysis. Your responsibilities will include leading and preparing engineering/design deliverables, interpreting varied instrumentation and engineering diagrams, reviewing submittals and testing results, performing calibration and documentation of equipment, and providing support as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in Instrumentation
  • Experience with Instrument Specifications and Data Sheet Creation
  • Familiarity with Field Instrument Installation Requirements
  • Knowledge of P&ID s
  • Wide knowledge of instrumentation models and manufacturers, including temperature, pressure, flow, and analytical instrumentation
  • Understanding of standard analytical instrument operations, terminology, safety considerations, and applications
  • Excellent planning, organization, and follow-through skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to evaluate options, analyze complex problems, and present solutions clearly
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Positive, professional attitude
  • Technical proficiency, including navigating Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with control panel electrical wiring is a plus
  • IT networking experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of networks and basic electronic troubleshooting skills is a plus
