Chitra is looking for Instructors/Writers for the 17C10 AIT Phase 1 & Phase 2 courses to support the Army Cyber School at Fort Eisenhower, GA. Position Requirements for Phase 1 (CBTC) Instructors/Writers: Top Secret Clearance / SCI Eligibility
Possess skills/knowledge of performing office automation work that includes word processing, electronic mail, spreadsheets, presentations, and other personal computer applications; typing a variety of materials from rough draft into final form including narrative and tabular material, e.g., correspondence, reports, and forms; maintaining records, historical records, survey results, reference library of training catalogs, regulations and other miscellaneous publications; establishing and maintaining office functional files and reference files; knowledge management applications e.g., SharePoint and Blackboard.
Graduated and have current (within last five years) TRADOC Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), Foundation Instructor Facilitator's Course (FIFC), or Common Faculty Development Instructor Course (CFD-IC); Faculty Development Program-1 (FDP-1) (as required); and Installation Staff Contractor Training Course (ISCTC) or equivalent (i.e., Cadre Training Course (CTC) or Support Cadre Training Course (SCTC .
Possess pedagogical/andragogical content knowledge, defined as the ability to recognize student mistakes, why they may have made those mistakes, and how to get students back on track from where they are.
Able to diagnose underlying student misconceptions and misunderstandings from the mistakes they make and then help them correct those misconceptions and misunderstandings instead of merely addressing the mistakes themselves.
Possess advanced presentation speaking skills (e.g., tailoring content and delivery for different audiences, presenting confidently to large or small groups, and using more creative approaches to presenting).
Technical Instructor certification or designation (e.g., CTT+, teaching certificate, certified professional instructor, master training specialist, or adjunct faculty certification) OR (2) years of experience teaching technical content in formal classroom setting. Experience is defined as experience in teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military institution, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s); supervising or administering a training program; development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results.
DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification (Any IAT Level 2 certification or higher) AND Be a graduate from one of the following Army's 17 series MOS/AOC producing courses: 17C AIT, 17A BOLC or CyOOC, or 170A WOBC
OR Graduate of Cyber Common Technical Core (CCTC) functional course. OR Graduate of Computer Network Operations Qualification Course (CNOQC). OR Hold Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) Certification. A AND Three years' demonstrated proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and BASH programming, design, and testing. OR A Basic or higher (e.g., Senior, Master) Certification as a Cyberspace Capabilities Developer (CCD). AND Five years' operational experience at the tactical level or higher on a Combat Mission Team (CMT) in Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO) OR on a Cyber Protection Team (CPT) in Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO). AND Demonstrated experience with Department of Defense Information Networks (DoDIN) best practices AND Scripting (Python/PowerShell) AND hacking methodologies AND digital forensics AND protocol analysis AND telecommunications AND ICS/SCADA.
