Overview i3 is seeking an Instructor/Training Developer to be located at Goodfellow AFB, TX. The overall role will consist of instructing, mentoring, and developing entry level soldiers in understanding the Intelligence Community; applying concepts of critical thinking in analysis; and learning the basic skills used by well-rounded Signals Intelligence Analysts while contributing to the development and research of training modules, working aids, and study guides. Responsibilities Responsible for the planning, preparing and presenting of formal classroom instruction for the Army Basic Analysis and Reporting Course (MOS 35N).
Develop overall course instructional strategies and researches material to be included in the course.
Coordinate the development and delivery of complex training modules and related materials in support of customer training objectives.
Conducts student evaluations and counselling, and properly document both.
Maintain subject matter qualification and current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications.
Responsible for the handling and security of a multitude of classified documents on a daily basis.
Participate in special projects as required by the team/mission lead or course manager/supervisor. Qualifications Requirements: BS degree (Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Tech Discipline) or a minimum 2 years of directly related experience may be substituted.
Minimum of 4 years of MOS operational experience as an Electronic Warfare/Signals Intelligence Analyst (U.S. Army MOS 35N), Signals Collector/Analyst (U.S. Army MOS 35S) or equivalent U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, or Air Force specialties in support of authorized intelligence activities as defined by AR 381-10 within the last ten years.
Must have received an Honorable discharge from military service.
Complete of one of the military courses: 35N SLC or 352N WOBC is preferred prior to start.
Top Secret/SCI clearance (or Top Secret interim clearance) is preferred.
Must pass initial and all subsequent counterintelligence polygraphs (CSP). Must submit to CI Polygraph IAW AR381-20 in order to develop or teach certain blocks of instruction.
Preferred Skills: Previously completed Common Faculty Development Program - Instructor Course (CFDP-IC) and Small Group Instructor Training Course (SGITC) or DOD/Service equivalent program certifications. ( If instructor applicant does not possess these qualifications, the applicant must be able to pass the requisite USAICoE-provided courses on the first iteration of classes made available by the government and maintain such certifications throughout duration of employment.)
Instructor Certification requirements as specified in TRADOC Regulation (TR) 350-70 and AETCI 36-2202 and as supplemented in local regulatory policies.
Current experience related to current MI doctrine, recent (draft) changes and fielding of the Army Field Manuals, Army Regulations and Department of Defense Directives (DoDD) relating to Intelligence Operations.
