Position InformationUnder the general supervision of the Chief Technology Officer, the Instructional Support Analyst assists in installing digital presentation technology and network-based multimedia equipment in support of School of Medicine instruction and special events. Will provide direct support to faculty, staff, and students with presentation technology, networked computers, Internet access, multimedia projects consisting of webcasting, video encoding, automated capture and publishing of classroom content and audio podcasts, and videoconferencing and web conference support in the School of Medicine spaces, including the Anatomy lab and Simulation and Clinical Skills Center. The Manager of Multimedia & Classroom Technologies group will also help manage the Instructional Support Analyst as well as help coordinate student assistants in support of daily operations.
The full salary range for this position is $64,300 - $114,300 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $90,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

License Requirements- Must possess or obtain a Valid CA Driver's License in accordance with the California Department of Motor Vehicles in order io drive either University-owned vehicle or personal vehicle to various sites on UCR's general campus. (Required)

Knowledge of computer, media, and networking technology. Thorough understanding of post-production processes including internet-based media distribution solutions. Thorough understanding of media production methods and equipment and ability to use this information to troubleshoot the most complex systems. Ability to assess campus or institutional needs for AV IT technology products and design services to meet those needs. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines. Knowledge of intellectual property (IP) restrictions and skill to ensure that media meets IP requirements.
Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with instructional support systems such as Canvas, BLINE, Yuja, Examsoft, and Zoom. Ability to assess campus or institutional needs for AV IT technology products (Extron and Crestron) and design services to meet those needs.
