Instructional Interventionist

ANTICIPATED VACANCY WCUUSD is seeking an Instructional Interventionist to provide targeted intervention and supports to students primarily in literacy at East Montpelier Elementary School. Candidate should have experience planning for and delivering high quality instruction to small groups on targeted skills, use progress monitoring data to support instruction, and work collaboratively with classroom teachers and special educators. Experience and training in the teaching of Orton-Gillingham Reading Instruction Practices is a plus. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to think on their feet, manage multiple tasks, and work with a variety of learners and grade levels. In addition, this individual may be responsible for teaching a class of phonics/word study. We invite collaborative, team- oriented individuals to apply to work and learn in our community.
