Here, your contributions will be recognized and celebrated. General Summary: We are seeking an Instructional Designer to develop highly interactive online content for military electronics training. This role requires strong writing and collaboration skills and will be based onsite in Orlando, Florida. Currently, no travel or security clearance is required. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Develop an Instructional Media Design Package (IMDP) in line with MIL HDBK 29612 standards.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to create comprehensive training content.
Design user interfaces for online training lessons.
Generate media and programming requests for media developers.
Create detailed storyboards for Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI).
Participate in customer meetings and incorporate their feedback.
Prepare and submit contract deliverables punctually.

Ability to write learning objectives, content outlines, and lesson storyboards.
Ability to read Technical Manuals and translate the content into training materials.
Basic graphic editing skills such as cropping or re-sizing.
Ability to develop knowledge-based tests and performance-based skill assessments for online training.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience creating an Instructional Media Design Package (IMDP).
Experience designing IMI Level 2 and IMI Level 3 courseware for military contracts.
Interface design and development skills.
Experience with DoD contract deliverables.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field (required).
MA degree in Instructional Systems (preferred).
5 years of experience (preferred, however, all experience levels are encouraged to apply).
Technical Writing experience is a plus.
Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (required).
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (preferred).
Experience with Adobe Captivate software (preferred).
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams (preferred).
