Overview This position will be responsible for assisting the federal government in determining the most efficient and cost-effective ways to operate across their portfolio. The SME shall have experience in facility management for federal installations at a headquarters level. A background in installations operations, facilities, and real property asset management is required. The candidate shall have strong communication skills, a demonstrated ability to deliver "innovative solutions" and possess the skill of "creative problem solving". Responsibilities You will support the federal client in basing decision processes, implementing business operations, enterprise system integration, and real property data management support at the pace of need. You should have experience with basing and installations operations from a enterprise-view level and the ability to identify of installation impacts and synchronization of effort opportunities. May have occasional travel. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree 5 or more years' experience in their respective area of expertise Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Clearance: Active Secret Candidate must be located in National Capital Region in commutable range to Pentagon and Marks Center. Partial telework allowed. Desired: Bachelor's Degree in: Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or Management Science, or 10 or more years' commensurate professional experience in DoD Real Property Management and/or Energy, Installations, and Environment disciplines (Real Property Asset Accountability, Facility Management, Facility Operations, Engineering, Installations Energy, Environment), or Systems Engineering Experience developing DoD information models, data standards and business rules. Experience developing DoD policy and guidance. Knowledge of DoD organizations and structures. Knowledge and understanding of, and practical experience in, the application of quality management techniques. 10 or more years' experience in multiple roles in Real Property Management (Energy, Installations, and Environment) functional business areas, including 4 or more years OSD/Service staff/Joint Staff experience. Master's Degree or higher in Engineering (systems or energy engineering field), Operations Research, Mathematics, Economics or Computer Management Science. Experience with strategic planning, program implementation, risk assessment and communication. Experience with installations portfolio management in the DoD and specific familiarization with the policies and procedures for DoD investment management. Experience with operations and maintenance of complex data engineering systems. Experience in interacting with senior level managers and decision makers. Operational Military background.
