The Big Task
Our install plumbers accurately and efficiently install plumbing equipment in customers' homes. Installers must complete approved repairs in a timely manner, have a clean and orderly work area, collect payment, and complete paperwork.
By working closely with the installation manager, warehouse manager and installation apprentices, you will complete jobs on time and under budget, helping achieve the company's goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assembles pipe sections, tubing, or fittings.
- Assists in locating and marking position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, or fixtures in structures.
- Train and mentor apprentices to ensure on-time, high quality installations.
- Locating and identifying leaks
- Repairing or replacing pipes and parts
- Determining the right tools and equipment necessary to successfully complete a job
- Ensure that all work is in accordance with federal, state, and local plumbing codes
Requirements:
- Outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
- Excellent organization, planning, and follow-through abilities
- Takes great pride in going the extra mile for our customers
- Strong customer service skills (active listening, relationship building, etc.)
- Ability to use own plumbing tools
Other requirements:
- Clean Background
- Pass Drug Test
- Reliable Transportation
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record
- Good physical condition
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel and/or crawl
- Occasional 12-8 and Saturday shifts will be required, but scheduled in advance
