Inspection Technician

Position Summary

The Inspection Technician has the most important responsibility of ensuring all systems are ready to pass inspections; this includes walking City/County officials through a recently installed and ready-to-go solar system, and fixing any issues that may arise during the inspections.

Responsibilities:

Communicate with inspectors to ensure efficient installation

Solve any issues that may arise regarding code and installs (this requires electrical knowledge on how to fix said issues)

Set up and tie off ladders for the city/county inspectors

Help county/city inspectors with accessibility problems

Coordinate and perform pre-inspection and on-site problem solving to ensure compliance with policy

Qualifications:

Some electrical background

Strong oral and written communication skills with multiple parties utilizing technology

Strong analytical, creative, problem solving, and interpersonal/human relations skills

Comfortable being and working on roofs

Work well with others that are on your work team

Must have a valid state driver's license

Must have a clean driving record

Comfort with using technology (computer, phone, email, etc.)

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older

Must have a clean and valid driving record

Must be comfortable working on roofs

MUST have some electrical background
