Job Position: Inside Sales Support Representative

Purpose: As an Inside Sales Support Representative, your primary objective will be to support the Power Services team by assisting the facilitation of collection, organization, tracking, and dissemination of project-related data to the Power Services team . Your accountability will extend to acquiring and consistently managing up-to-date project information, ensuring its meticulous organization and timely distribution to the project team. Integral to this role is developing a comprehensive understanding of Knobelsdorff's processes and procedures, utilizing this knowledge to guarantee accurate project organization.

Responsibilities

Initiate opportunities within CRM, allocate job numbers, and meticulously organize sales folders in SharePoint, incorporating essential quote support data.
Gather requisite information for quotes, including crucial deadlines, site visit schedules, RFQs, drawings, images, scope documents, and historical data for re-quoted projects.
Scrutinize contract documents, assemble scope details for examination, and dispatch terms and conditions for review.
Aggregate sales support materials such as Certificates of Insurance (COI), safety records, EMR information, and bonds.
Assess bid documents meticulously, formulating cost estimates and proposals encompassing labor, materials, equipment, or services aligned with project specifications and bid requests.
Consolidate quotes for external materials and services like crane, scaffold, and equipment.
Craft project proposal documents ensuring uniform, professional formatting, incorporating scope particulars provided by regional managers or superintendents, along with necessary clarifications from bid documents.
Compile sales support documentation as required, and forward bid document summaries, estimating sheets, and proposals for review to Operations Manager, Sales Account Manager, etc., prior to submission.
Arrange and conduct bid review meetings when necessary for substantial quote projects.
Transmit proposals to customers, updating CRM with submission date and pricing details.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, generating reports for division managers as needed.
Facilitate seamless handover to operations with comprehensive documentation upon close/won notification.
Engage in sales prospecting calls.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in engineering, Electrical estimating preferred; however, equivalent combination of schooling, training and/or experience will be considered.
Practical knowledge of electrical testing and maintenance of electrical systems and components preferred.
Inside sales or estimating experience, preferably in utilities or industrial sectors is a plus.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license that represents a history of safe & competent driving

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
Familiarity with CRM solutions, such as Dynamics.
Demonstrates outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other fundamental computer applications.
Exhibits professional and efficient communication in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

Other Requirements:

Primary office location: Eagan with some travel to the headquarters in Goodhue.
Expected travel: 10-20%.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
Must be capable of working in inclement conditions to include extreme hot and cold temperatures.
Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs.
