- The Inside Sales Specialist for our Biologics -Gene Therapy team is home based position working in collaboration with the Associate Director, Gene Therapy Research Solutions.
- Responsible for driving outbound research Gene Therapy sales.
Scope/complexity:
- Build Prospecting list for Gene Therapy - Research Solutions via e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Scitodate and other sources)
- Drive sales for research gene therapy through outbound prospecting (full sale cycle from initial reach out to PO receipt)
- Gather data on market trends, competitive products, and pricing (e.g., via direct feedback from prospects/clients etc.)
- Establish and nurture positive, productive relationships with newly acquired customer accounts.
- Share customer problems/concerns with relevant departments for quality resolution.
- Maintain a CRM database (Salesforce) via updates to sales opportunities and sales stages.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a science or technical field or a similar experience required (Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Molecular Biology)
- Experience in gene therapy market (in particular, plasmid DNA and Viral Vector segments) is strongly preferred.
- 2-4 years of successful sales experience with a technical life science product is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and master highly technical concepts and articulate them well to others.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and preferably LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customer personality types.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong business sense, instinct, and personal drive.
- Team goal oriented with a focus on achieving team sales performance metrics through personal contribution and teamwork.
Preferred qualifications:
- Outstanding Listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience working with Salesforce, a similar CRM database.
