Essential Functions:
1. Inside Sales

Receives and responds to calls and emails from current and prospective customers, explaining type of product and/or service offered. Works with the customer to assess and understand their applications, equipment and/or service needs.
Source products and develop quotes based on customer requests.
Make recommendations on strategies for completing the sale.
Establishes professional customer network relationships with appropriate customer personnel to elicit customer loyalty; which will in turn generate repeat business.

2. Vendors

Research and price new products and identify new vendors as needed.
Negotiate with vendors on pricing & delivery.
Establishes professional customer relationships with appropriate vendor personnel to garner most favored vendor pricing.

3.Sales Administration

New customer setup and accurate maintenance in CRM.
Order booking & delivery instructions.
Utilize EST Companies current CRM
Utilizes company CRM for tracking of all activities, new leads/opportunities and scheduling follow up calls.
Support of Outside EST Sales Representatives
Provides recommendations for deal strategy.
Provide needed support in all phases of sales cycle.
Assist in closing sales.
Support entire EST Team as Needed
Develops a list of prospects from company records, resource material, and existing
industrial/commercial contacts.
Secures opportunities to quote and promote company products and/or services.

Additional Responsibilities:

May be required to attend trade shows or other sales and networking events both in person and online.
Performs any directly related duties assigned by the sales manager.
Performs assigned duties with minimal personal supervision.
Extended hours and occasional travel (3-4X/year) may be required
Submits all required reports to sales manager per agreed upon schedule.
Maintain all assigned company property (vehicle, computer, etc.) to minimize financial loss due to damage or lost inventory.

Qualifications:

2-4 years successful sales and customer support experience preferred.
Industrial or government sales application experience preferred.
Associates or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college preferred.
In lieu of degree, five years or more of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience with government contracts strongly preferred
Strong knowledge and background in mechanical, plumbing, electrical equipment and electronic systems a plus.
Strong computer skills including 3 years' experience with MS Office in a work environment, particularly Excel & Outlook. CRM experience highly preferred.
Strong customer orientation.
Understanding of the importance of being a team player to achieve organizational goals.
Excellent communication and listening skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, well organized and dependable.
Must have a highly developed ability to multi-task. Requires ability to switch gears quickly and be able to comfortably operate with multiple interruptions
Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
Ability to travel occasionally and work extended hours.
Driver's license and excellent driving record required; may be required to drive for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Passport, Military base passes and other access credentials.
Ability to routinely lift 50 pounds.
Ability to utilize a ladder with 300 lb weight limit.
