Inside Sales Representative

Opening with our client for an Inside Sales Represenative.

Looking for someone with an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor eager to learn and grow in a role.

This position involves taking incoming phone calls, processing orders, and assisting outside salesmen.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle customer orders and phone calls; assisting outside salesmen; act as a liaison with shipping department and back order management.

Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.

Enters sales orders and applicable production data.

Confirms processing costs and processing orders.

Tracks and expedites sales and processing orders

Dispatches customer orders when ready; locates trucks, ships and tracks customer orders

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree preferred but not required

Minimum 2 years inside sales experience; Construction/Industrial background a plus

ERP systems experience preferred

Expediting, Order Entry, and Purchasing experience a plus

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM
