Heartland is looking for a high performing Inside Sales Manager to join our team. We're an industry-leading mobile device solutions integrator. We provide our clients with a portfolio of award-winning products and services, and decades of experience simplifying and optimizing mobile workforces.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing our inside sales team to achieve sales targets, drive revenue growth, and ensure exceptional customer service. You will help us meet our client acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to the upper management.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, a strong understanding of sales strategies, and the ability to motivate and mentor team members.

What you'll do

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of inside sale representatives to achieve growth and hit sales targets and objectives.
  • Set and track sales targets for your team.
  • Identify opportunities for sales process improvement and implement effective strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and alignment of objectives to meet deadlines.
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales business plan to drive revenue growth, expand market reach, and ensure Heartland's strong presence.
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status and use customer feedback to generate ideas.
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement.
  • Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met.
  • Build an open-communication environment for your team.
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency and increase sales.

Preferred Experience

  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
  • 5+ years of proven work experience as an Inside Sales Manager consistently meeting or exceeding targets, developing new sales representatives and leading an inside sales organization
  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Excel
  • In-depth understanding of the sales administration process
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
