SEEKING AMBITIOUS 2024 FALL INTERNS. Over the years, we've had the privilege of mentoring many exceptional interns, and we've meticulously crafted our sales internship to make sure our interns gain vital sales skills and experiences to enhance their resumes.
Our Inside Sales Internship offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for those eager to learn sales. As an Inside Sales Intern, you will support our dedicated sales team in acquiring new clients for Social High Rise. You'll be trained in social media philosophy as it pertains to restaurants, and you'll undergo comprehensive sales training to master lead qualification, objection handling, closing strategies, and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
BOTTOM LINE: If you are interested in learning how to sell, this internship is specifically tailored for you. And you'll also be exposed to the social media industry, social media marketing, and startup culture, which is a nice bonus.
To get the most out of your experience, we recommend a commitment of two semesters (Spring, Summer, or Fall). Historically, interns have seen their earnings double during their second semester, and they leave with a more extensive sales experience, stronger resumes, and more job offers after college.

INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Working with our sales team at our Chico Headquarters office, in-person, on the following schedule:Monday: 9am-1pm
Wednesday: 9am-1pm
Friday: 9am-1pm
Following the above schedule consistently throughout the semester
Averaging 20-30 calls per hour
Following a written script to assist you in having successful prospecting calls
Sending appointment reminder emails to qualified leads
Sending email campaigns to nurture leads
Learn and practice how to quickly overcome objections, closing techniques, and persuasive sales psychology
Bringing an attitude of hustle every day
Rigorously tracking sales activity
Analyzing personal performance to find ways to improve
Shadowing the Social High Rise team to learn sales and business-related skills that can be applied to future career opportunities.
DEFINITION OF SUCCESS:
Qualify 6+ leads per month
Schedule solid appointments with qualified prospects to speak with a Sales Executive
COMPENSATION:
$20-$80 per qualified appointment set (increases with volume over the semester)
$100 monthly attendance bonus
Bonuses for hitting personal and team goals

Valuable sales experience
An accelerated rate of learning, since we act like a start-up and we move quickly
