The Inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry locum tenens opportunity in Oklahoma
-Location: Tulsa, OK
-Duration: January 2023 December 2023
-Schedule: 2-4 weeks per month
-Shift: starts at 7a or 8a based on your preference, estimated 8 hours of patient contact per day
-Call: none
-Patient Volume: approximately 14 patients per day (medical director oversees unit if assistance is needed)
-Scope: all ages, inpatient psychiatry
-Types of cases: mood disorders, suicidal ideation, Acute ER patients, chronically ill patients, court system patients, substance abuse, detox
-EMR: Avatar
-Group: four other full-time psychiatrists
-Hospital: 120 beds, 20 bed psychiatry unit (usually at 70% capacity)
-Requirements: Board certified with an Oklahoma license or compact license (willing to consider those with child and adolescent fellowship OR recent experience training inpatient child and adolescent patients)
