We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Permanent Injection Supervisor to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the injection molding process, working closely with the manufacturing department to ensure high-quality product output. This role involves a significant amount of time spent on the manufacturing floor, directly interacting with the assembly, paint, and shipping/receiving departments. The successful candidate will be adept at using hand tools and will have a keen understanding of the injection molding process. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire injection molding process, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing department to maintain production schedules and meet project deadlines.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain hand tools and other equipment used in the injection molding process.
  • Coordinate with the assembly and paint departments to ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality.
  • Supervise the shipping and receiving department, ensuring that all products are correctly packaged and shipped in a timely manner.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Implement and enforce safety regulations, ensuring that all staff members adhere to safety protocols.
  • Continually evaluate and improve manufacturing processes, implementing changes as necessary to increase efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Extensive knowledge of the injection molding process.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and other equipment used in injection molding.
  • Strong understanding of assembly and paint processes.
  • Experience overseeing shipping and receiving operations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to team members at all levels of the organization.
  • A strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven track record of improving manufacturing processes and increasing efficiency.
