One of our direct clients is looking to hire a contract resource for the Infrastructure Platforms Specialist/Analyst either at Kansas City, MO or Minneapolis, MN.
Job Title: Infrastructure Platforms Specialist/Analyst
Location: Kansas City, MO or Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 6+ Months contract-to-hire
Description: Specialists are responsible to analyze complex situations, demonstrate ability to apply critical thinking techniques to validate understanding of existing infrastructure technology solutions and/or test and validate new solution designs. Infrastructure Engineer/Specialist with a strong background in Microsoft 365 (M365) or Office 365 (O365), hybrid scenarios, and on-premises Microsoft environments. You'll be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and scaling our cloud infrastructure while providing exceptional support to our internal teams.
- Manage hybrid deployments between on-premises Exchange and Exchange Online.
- Plan and execute migrations to Exchange Online and other cloud services.
- On-Premises Support and Server Provisioning.
- Maintain and troubleshoot on-premises Microsoft environments.
- Provision and manage servers, including Exchange servers.
- Monitor performance, apply updates, and ensure high availability.
- Manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) synchronization.
- Work with AWS and Google services, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
- Implement clustering for high availability and failover.
- Resolve technical issues promptly by handling support tickets.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles for effective service management.
Work Experience: - 4-6 years of converged Infrastructure experience with specialization in one of the three base technologies (Compute, Storage or Networking).
- Microsoft 365 or Office 365 experience.
- Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, Azure AD, and hybrid deployments.
- Proficiency in managing on-premises servers (Windows Server, Exchange).
- Windows OS support is MUST.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to work in an on-call rotation
- ITIL is nice to have
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, seeking required input across departments to achieve goals.
- Ability to independently drive results and meet timelines as part of a strong technical delivery team.
