Job Summary UFP Industries is seeking a Mobile Support Technician to add to our Infrastructure computing team. This position will primarily be responsible for supporting our mobile computing environment, working through remote issues, monitoring a ticket queue to manage incidents, and performing end-user support for related hardware and software. You will also collaborate with both internal and external parties to identify corporate computing needs and in resolution practices. Works under general supervision; relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and requires a certain degree of creativity and autonomy to perform the job. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex mobile and other end-point issues, and implement corrective solutions, including direct support when necessary. Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user mobile devices. Construct, install, and test customized configurations based on various platforms and operating systems. Collaborate with internal and external technology team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization's mobile computing environment. Where required, administer, and resolve issues with associated end-user mobile and workstation enterprise software products. Assist in managing and resolving support and service incidents and requests. Make recommendations to enhance operations and availability. Create and maintain IT documentation. Support security policies in the implementation, monitoring, and auditing of IT services, applications, and WAN/LAN infrastructure. Provide suggestions and feedback to fellow coworkers and management on system enhancements or process improvements. Coordinate appropriate resources to resolve problems in a timely fashion. Reports the status of projects and assignments to management on a regular basis. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of related experience required. Experience with SCCM/Intune/Android/Windows OS Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Direct hardware/software troubleshooting experience. Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards. Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides. Strong understanding of network services, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. Must be able to effectively communicate and interface with all levels of staff, from clerical to executive management. Must be organized, an initiative-taker and must have the ability to prioritize work. Skills and abilities Proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing and speaking. Strong analytical skills in making the appropriate business and technical decisions. Ability to successfully interact with all organizational levels. Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational, and workload planning skills are essential for this position. Ability to function independently and produce results that meet standards of quality, timeliness, and acceptability. Ability to work effectively within a team environment with other IT groups and our business partners. Ability to pass a drug test. Conduct Initiative-taker; works well under little supervision.
