At WilsonHCG, we are working with one of the world's largest defense contracting companies. A U.S. government DOD - security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. THESE ARE DIRECT-HIRE POSITIONS, NOT CONTRACT ROLES. Job Summary: We are looking for Infrastructure Engineers (Mid, Senior, and Principal), and DevOps Engineers (Mid, Senior, and Principal) who would be a key contributor to supporting our government Customer's program platform environment operation and design. This role would be supporting in a Linux Based environment and would include hands on experience in COTS implementation, Systems Administration, Network systems configuration, Systems Security implementation, and configuration of private cloud environments using tools such as VMware or Amazon Web Services accordingly. Responsibilities to Anticipate: You will support the hardware infrastructure; including systems Administration, networks, and system security posture overall; consisting of several complex on premises compute environments that form the backbone for the operational deployment of a critical, strategic national asset
communicate any risks or issues involving system performance, availability, or security
You will be process oriented such that they work with the team on fixes while ensuring that any changes follow the project's change management processes
You will support system configuration and deployment
You will assist the system networking
You will support with COTS product installations
You will need hands on experience with Linux and/or Windows system administration
You will work with the systems security team
You need the ability to obtain Comp TIA Security + Certification within 90 days Basic Qualifications: Typically requires a BA/BS degree and 5 years' experience; Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with emphasis in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology
An active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience with agile development methodologies
Experience in the daily system operations and maintenance and use of administration tools
Experience in network designs and security postures
Experience in SAN / NAS structures
